CHIMNEY SWEEPING

Our chimney sweeping service is most suited for those who have open fires, log burners, or multi fuel stoves already installed. We complete our chimney sweeping to the highest standard having been initially trained by the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps and then gaining an NVQ in Chimney Sweeping.
Our standard sweep includes:
A check of the appliance to confirm all the parts are in working order.
Sweeping the chimney either with traditional brushes or a rotary system.
A smoke draw test.
Certification (emailed) from the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps
LOG BURNER & STOVE SERVICING
We offer a number of different servicing items
Following on from the chimney sweep there may be some attention required to the log burner or multi fuel stove. Parts of the stove will deteriorate over time from general wear and tear.
These can include:
Fire bricks Glass Fire Rope Fire cement. The solution is easy. RJL Chimneys can help with any of these issues, whether on the day of the chimney sweep or a return visit.
